One of the few Pulses that had a cover photo solidified in the early stages of the design. I decided to use a strong primary palette, with a muted green as a secondary color to emulate the bay water. To complement the graphical formation of the pelicans, and clear blue sky, I recreated line art of the pelicans in different formations and also illustrations of the sky, water, sampling team, and surrounding land formations.
